Equanimal is a non-profit organization aimed at animal rights activism. We believe that we should not exploit animals as if they were resources for our use. Our actions and campaigns are financed exclusively by the members and donations from people concerned about animals. 

 Equanimal advocates non-violent civil disobedience in the defense of animals. With ours actions, Equanimal aims to get the attention of the public and the media, in order to generate public debate on the issues that affect animals. Equanimal activists never hide their identity and they often put themselves at risk when they are attacked by supporters of the use of non-human animals as resources. 

 Equanimal has full legal status in Spain as a Foundation. It is registered in the Spanish Government’s Ministry of Environmental Affairs Index with the number 280015.
